Strowger or 'step by step' switch display.
The
'step by step switch' was designed and built by retired
BC Telephone Company employees for BC Tel's 100th Anniversary,
and donated by them. Pick up the telephone at either end
and dial the number listed. You can now watch how the switch
processes your call. Bring a friend to answer the call.
The exhibit us housed in a beautiful case of oak and glass
with interior lights and castors. It is 6' high, 6.5' long
and 3.5' wide.
